I led the creative direction and animation for MetaGods’ launch trailer, designed to capture the high-energy, magical combat of the game while introducing players to its blockchain-powered universe.
I started by identifying three emotional pillars [Action, Wonder, and Myth] and built a storyboard around them. Every scene reinforced those feelings through dynamic camera moves, magical effects, and custom character animation.
The challenging part was making sure the trailer appealed to both crypto-savvy players and traditional gamers without feeling like a hard sell on blockchain. To solve this, I framed the story around mythological heroes and rewards, and kept the blockchain elements as a subtle background mechanic rather than the headline, which helped the trailer feel accessible and exciting to a broader audience.
